FAQ
What is Coaching?
Coaching, at its core, is a partnership in which we work together. We clarify areas that you would like to improve, maximizing your potential and creating the best you. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on healing past wounds, coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented. It’s about moving you from where you currently are to where you want to be, drawing on your strengths, and using my coaching resources to create lasting change. One of the key distinctions of coaching is the partnership dynamic. As your coach, I see you as the expert in your own life. My role is to provide support, guidance, and accountability as you navigate your journey of growth and self-discovery. Together, we’ll work collaboratively to identify obstacles, develop strategies to overcome them and clarify your goals. This partnership is built on trust, transparency, respect, and mutual empowerment, with the ultimate goal of helping you unlock your full potential. Through our coaching engagement, you’ll gain greater clarity, confidence, and self-awareness, allowing you to make intentional choices and take meaningful action in alignment with your values and aspirations. Coaching is not about giving you the answers; it’s about entrusting you to find solutions while tapping into your inner wisdom allowing you to become the best version of yourself.
Is Coaching Suitable for Everyone?:
Coaching is a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation, but it is not necessarily suitable for everyone. Coaching is most effective for individuals who are ready and willing to take action in their lives. If you are someone who is committed to making positive changes, setting and achieving goals, and exploring new possibilities, then coaching can be incredibly beneficial for you. Coaching requires active participation and a willingness to step out of your comfort zone. It is essential to assess whether you are truly prepared to invest the time, effort, energy, and money into the coaching process. If you are ready to commit to your personal growth journey and take decisive action toward creating the life you desire, then coaching is your powerful catalyst for change.
What Can I Expect During a Coaching Session?:
Complimentary Session: (60min)
The complimentary session is an initial consultation or meeting between the Coach and the prospective client. The primary purpose is to explore whether there is rapport between the client and Coach. During this session, the Coach typically asks open-ended questions to gain insight into the client’s aspirations, challenges, and expectations for coaching. Likewise, the client has the opportunity to learn more about the coach’s background, coaching style, and the services they offer. Complimentary sessions are not only a chance for both parties to assess compatibility but also an opportunity for the client to experience the coach’s coaching style and determine if it resonates with them. Ultimately, the goal of this session is to lay the foundation for a successful coaching relationship built on trust, mutual respect, and alignment of goals. Assessment forms will be emailed after this meeting if both client and coach decide to move forward with coaching sessions.
